| Job Description |
The ideal head Chef will have a strong knowledge base in classic French and European dishes but at the same time a more modern approach to presentation, ingredients and other cooking methods. The Head Chef will be involved with developing menus that are appropriate for the market, type of cuisine and business goals.
This position is best suited to a self motivated Head Chef with a positive attitude who wants to bring the best out of their brigade, the food and exceed their customer expectations.
In return the Head Chef will receive a good salary package, work for a well established employer with excellent working conditions and further in house career opportunities.
HEAD CHEF BACKGROUND
-Organise and efficiently run a busy kitchen environment -Budgeting and achieving set GP targets -Strong leadership, team building and staff training skills -Detailed knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, food hygiene laws.
