My first association with Abbey Recruitment came back in 1990. Nina secured a position of 1stcommis, at the Hampshire hotel, in Leicester Square. London. Since then I have always gone to Abbey for future employment for good reason, over the years Nina has always offered me the positions right for me not her business telling me hard truths when necessary (which is hard to take when you’re a stubborn chef). My first head chef position came through Nina herself believing it was the right move for me, since becoming an executive chef I now use Nina for all my recruiting needs including senior chefs and specialised cooks, working in a range of culinary delights including Vietnamese, Japanese and now Thai and Malaysian. My kitchens can be quite intimidating for staff working in this environment, so Nina sorts out the boys from the chefs for me.
